Hello and thank you for calling the Kirkwood Uphill Access Hotline. All uphill access is currently open. Thank you for your compliance during our brief closure while we conducted mitigation work in order to facilitate mountain operations to conduct their season-ending teardown work. Please be advised that mitigation work has not been conducted in many areas of the mountain and avalanche hazard may still exist. Please also be advised that ski patrol is not present in the off-season. And additionally, teardown efforts will be underway for the next several weeks. Please be aware of machinery on the hill and hazards, both man-made and natural, that may be present mountain-wide. Sierra at Tahoe does not have an uphill hotline with current opening/closing. Please check their website for the most up to date information. Sierra at Tahoe requires you to sign a liability waiver before skinning uphill as the resort. They also require a free uphill pass or season pass.
